Rick’s Records

This is an easy going hard-bop oriented piece that I wrote for Rick Fiore – a local NJ jazz drummer and record collector who I worked with around the Princeton area. His overall vibe and commitment to the culture of being a jazz musician inspired me to dedicate this tune to him. We would play gigs at this Chinese restaurant and on every break he would head to Princeton Record Exchange to dig through the crates! Truly a “Jazz Warrior.”
